About
Blue Square is a performing arts complex in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, built directly at Hangangjin Station on subway Line 6, one stop from Itaewon. It houses several naming-rights halls used for musicals and concerts, plus lounges bookable for premieres and brand events. The concert hall, previously known as the Mastercard Hall and later the SOL Travel Hall, holds roughly 1,300 to 1,400 people: the ground floor is flat and can be set with seats or left as a standing area, while the second floor has tiered, cushioned seating. That flexibility makes it workable both for seated presentations and for standing launch parties with a live performance element. Fixed stage, sound and lighting installations reduce production build time compared with a blank-box venue, and the Hannam location is close to Itaewon's hotels and restaurants for after-events. Blue Square suits large product launches, showcases, film or content premieres, and company gatherings built around a stage programme.
